Asante Kotoko have added Brazilian forward Matheus Medieros De Souza to their squad who has signed a six-month loan deal.
This season, the Ghanaian champions are competing for the league and the FA Cup, and believe that the Brazilian player can help them win. “Matheus Medieros De Souza has joined Asante Kotoko on a six-month contract with an option plus one year to extend,” Kotoko announced.
“The enterprising left forward will bolster our striking department in an effort to reach our season targets, with the goals and assists that are his trademark.”
“He is the second player to join us after Rashid Nortey this window.”
“Matheus is the third Brazilian to join us after successful spells with Michael Vinicius and Fabio Gama.”
“We welcome Matheus to the Porcupine family and wish him success.”
Kotoko are fourth in the league, three points behind leaders Aduana Stars, and they qualified for the round of 16 of the FA Cup last week.
