Kody Brown has some good news to send to single women around the country:
After all, they are not coming for you!
The father of 18 has actually been thrown by three spouses over the course of the last year or more… as Christine walked away in November 2021; Janelle did the same in December 2022; and then Meri and Kody confirmed the termination of this marriage at the end of January.
This leaves Kody and his legal wife, Robyn Brown, as the only remaining couple in this previously polygamous household.
Will he expand his family anytime soon?
Is Kody really in the market for a new partner to boss around?
It’s not like that.
“Robyn and I are very monogamous. Don’t let it come out, this might be a spoiler, but it seems obvious with the new season coming up,” the TLC star said in a March 22 Cameo video.
Kody also laughed that he doesn’t “have any recommendations” for video recipients about being polygamous, adding that he’s “not sure” that trying to talk to your partner about plural marriage is “a good idea.”
Gee, we wonder why not!
Back in early February, The Sun reported that Kody and Robyn actually met up in Mexico with her sister’s future husband.
According to Pauline Bithell, co-host of Tender Loving Care…? podcast, TLC cameras captured the length (for Sister Wives Season 18) of the culmination of the courtship that began a few months ago.
“He’s actively looking for these women through dating websites, which he claims he’s never done before,” Bithell said of Kody and Robyn.
The prospective couple is reportedly in their 20s, having never participated in the polygamous lifestyle in America and South America.
After spending time with Kody and Robyn down south, the woman felt “uncomfortable” and “told production she wanted to go home and didn’t want to continue filming.”
Adding this podcast host:
“Apparently, my source told me that this woman wants to zero in on Kody and Robyn.
“He was desperate to get out of that situation.
“My source says he’s not comfortable with the whole situation. He says he’s not happy with his energy.”
Meanwhile, Robyn says she really wants a polygamous lifestyle.
“If I want to live a monogamous life, I can,” Robyn said on air two months ago.
“I mean, it’s not like I didn’t have any other choice. I could have had a very happy, successful relationship with a few other people. That’s just the fact, I’m sorry!
“I don’t like to say it because it’s like me, like, boasting or something, but no. It’s just, it’s the truth.”
