Kobina Amissah eyes Bechem United victory over Kotoko to guarantee league survival
The head coach of Bechem United, Kobina Amissah, has set his sights on leading the team to victory against Asante Kotoko in their next Ghana Premier League fixture.
According to the coach, amassing maximum points from the upcoming Week 33 fixture will guarantee his side escapes relegation at the end of the 2025/26 league campaign.
“We have matches against Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea. We lost our last home match, but in our game against Kotoko, we must not lose that game. We must work hard and secure all the points at home to ensure, regardless of the result from the last match of the season, we will be safe,” Kobina Amissah said after Bechem United drew against Swedru All Blacks over the weekend.
The Hunters currently sit in the 10th position in the Ghana Premier League standings after accumulating 44 points from 32 games.
A slip in the last two games of the season could send the team into the lower division.
