It’s not a secret Kim Kardashian willing to do anything to get his name in the headlines – even if it means getting flour bombed in front of everyone!
In case you don’t remember, in 2012, the reality star walked the red carpet as part of the perfume launch. True Reflection at London Hotel in West Hollywood, California. He was doing his usual thing, talking to reporters, etc., when suddenly someone covered his long black hair and clothes with flour (top right, inset)! Attacker, Christina Cho, reportedly shouted “fur hag” during the moment, leading Kim to speculate the flour attack was organized by anti-fur demonstrators. He explains in season 7 of Keeping up with the Kardashians:
“So I’m doing the red carpet and suddenly I get all this powder and I’m so shocked. Now I’m definitely experiencing hate, but I don’t want to ruin the night just because this anti-fur organization is trying to ruin our event with this flour bomb.

After the incident, Kim cleaned up in her private room before retreating to the carpet and finishing her performance. Meanwhile, Christina was reportedly detained by staff at the hotel until the police arrived, but the television personality did not choose to press charges. MAP – women’s organizations are allegedly members of – denied responsibility for the incident, said for TMZ in time:
“Not yet [us]. We were given a video by an anti-fur activist on the scene. PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur clothing. Whoever threw the flour could reach him when our polite request did not.”
Well, it turns out that PETA really has nothing to do with it, because Sheeraz Hasan, a PR expert who worked with Kim since 2005, claims the whole thing has been staged! According to English Channel 4 documentary The Kardashians: Billion Dollar Dynasty, he shared how the incident was an orchestrated “media moment.” Apparently, there was a “discussion” with the reality star and his team, and he was “flour bombed” before the launch event to drum up more press. He told Kim at the time:
“Okay, this is what will happen. You’ll be fine, you’ll be safe, but we’re going to have a media moment. If we make gold media, guess what will happen? Everyone wants to talk about your perfume, everyone will buy it.”
Sheeraz added:
“Is the team involved? Of course, they are involved.
wow!
However, sources “close to the situation” denied Sheeraz’s claims The New York Post, said Kim never knew about the PR movement and blamed PETA. In response to the bombshell allegations, animal rights organizations told the outlet:
“Maybe the bigger thing is that Kim’s assistant is a secret PETA member? We may not know, but we do know that Kim is now fur-free, and that is very important to us and the animals we prevent from being caged, tortured and electrocuted for fur.”
