Kevin Coster wants to clap again.
Earlier this month, there were shocking reports that the Golden Globe-winning actor refused to be on location for more than a week to film a new episode of Yellowstone.
The drama is the highest rated show on television.
According to the corner border.

The report even cites sources who claim creator Taylor Sheridan is ready to cancel Yellowstone … and replace it with a spin-off featuring Matthew McConaughey in the lead role.
Is there any truth to this rumor?
Not one piece, according to Costner’s lawyer.

“The idea that Kevin is only willing to work for one week in the second half of season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie,” 68-year-old actor’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told Puck.News on Friday.
“It’s ridiculous – and anyone who suggests that is not to be believed for a second.
“As anyone who knows anything about Kevin knows, he is passionate about the show and has always gone above and beyond to make it a success.”
Yellowstone was a big hit, averaging 8.2 million same-day viewers for the Paramount Network, better than any scripted show on broadcast or cable networks so far this season.

Previously, a Paramount representative issued a brief statement regarding allegations that Costner’s scheduling disagreements delayed his return for season 5:
“As I’ve said before, Kevin has been a key component to the success of our Yellowstone series, and we look forward to continuing from here.
“We don’t have any news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone, and we hope that’s the case for a long time.
“Thanks to Taylor Sheridan’s brilliant mind, we are always looking forward to expanding the franchise in the incredible world we have built.
“Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent that we would love to partner with.”

Yellowstone is expected to air in the back half of Season 5 sometime this summer.
However, the episode has yet to be recorded.
They are now reportedly set to shoot in the summer and fall and air in November.
The series also stars Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille and Wes Bentley.
