MANILA, Philippines—Suwon KT Sonicboom defeated Rhenz Abando and Anyang KGC, 85-83, in the Korea Basketball League at the Anyang Indoor Gymnasium on Friday.

Rhenz Abando played just ten minutes in the loss and finished with three points and one assist.

Omari Spellman’s 22-point, five-rebound performance wasn’t enough for Anyang as they posted a 20-9 record.

Suwon, on the other hand, won its 13th season in 28 games without Filipino import Dave Ildefonso, whose debut in Korea was delayed due to a requirement.

Han Hee-Won hit four buckets from the three-point area to collect 18 markers for Sonicboom while Yang Hong-Seok had a double-double of 16 markers and 10 boards to win against the top team in the league.

Former PBA import Lester Prosper played only eight minutes and scored five with two rebounds for Suwon,

Ildefonso will also miss the upcoming match against Jeonju KCC Egis, who also lost on Friday against Seoul SK Knights, 78-70.
