Katie Maloney offers updates on her sandwich shop with Ariana Madix during an “Ask Me a Question” session on her Instagram Story on Thursday night.
Before sharing her breakup advice and favorite things about her friendship with Ariana, the Vanderpump Rules The cast member said the restaurant will open this summer as he also revealed his thoughts on the dating app and leaving Los Angeles.
“It’s been a long time [Something About Her] open???” a fan asked on April 6.
“Don’t like it, don’t have it [a] definitive date, because we just really don’t have it, but it will be like, this summer. It is,” Katie confirmed. “We decorated. That’s where we are now. So the only problem is that everything goes according to plan and correctly and there are no such things as, hiccups on the way, which cannot be planned.
“The last thing I want is to say, ‘It’s going to be this date,’ and then it’s not and everyone’s like, ‘What happened?’ So we’re planning this summer,” Katie said. “So keep it up. I will tell you.”
Others wondered if Katie would ever leave LA
“Potential, but I like it here,” he replied. “Never say never.”
As for whether or not she has used a dating app in the months since her divorce from Tom SchwartzKatie said, “No.”
Katie then responded to a fan who asked her for her “best advice for someone who has broken up with a long-term relationship.”
“I call it a bit delusional about life in a physical form. Romanticize your life,” he advises. “Picture yourself like, the main character in a rom-com. You will walk into the world and just, the best thing will happen: You will get the best job or you will meet someone who will get rid of you. And really believe. You’re going to go out and put that energy out there.
“It’s the law of attraction. When you start to believe that things can happen, things that are a little imaginary in a healthy way, the energy kind of changes. It’s kind of fun,” he added.
Finally, Katie opened up to one of her curious followers about her friendship with Ariana.
“One of the things I love about being friends with Ariana – and specifically with Ariana because she’s more like this and I’ve tried to be more like this in our friendship – is the ability to be objective when it comes to things. [our friends]”Katie shared. “We don’t always get along with friends … For example, me and [Tom Sandoval] we don’t get along but it doesn’t affect our friendship. They have done such a great job.
“It doesn’t always happen, but I feel that in recent years, we have been able to maintain and friendship has grown despite it and I am very happy,” he said.
