Kathryn Dennis has reportedly been fired from Southern charm after eight seasons.
Just like the cast members are still starting to film the next nine seasons, the Bravo Queen on Instagram announcing Kathryn is “out”. And a few hours later, additional reports claimed he was a “no-show” and that his poor treatment of people on set led to him not being offered a new contract.
“I know Bravo didn’t give him a contract, but when you treat someone as bad as him, he’s going to be hurt,” an insider told The US Sun on January 9. “He doesn’t show up on time or show up at all during a lot of filming… He treats people like he’s below him. He can’t hold back people who are better or get more attention than him.
Kathryn has also been known to throw tantrums on set, the source continued.
“I think that’s why a new producer was brought in; the one before is no longer strong,” explained the insider. “I know he has money problems and now I don’t know how he’s going to work, he never works. I’m worried about him, but maybe this is a wake-up call.
As Southern charm As fans may have heard, Kathryn faced eviction on three separate occasions in 2022 after failing to pay rent. But in December, after apparently catching up on back payments, Kathryn scored a court win.
Also in 2022, Kathryn’s Catching Up With Kathryn podcast was reportedly canceled (although some say it stopped airing due to “scheduling issues”) just months after launch.
“Kathryn and Amanda wanted the podcast to blow up and become a huge success, but it just didn’t work out as they had planned,” a source told The US Sun last summer. “Amanda moved to Chicago and couldn’t reconcile their schedules – they were both too busy to get together at Kathryn’s house anymore.”
“They’d love to start over because they think they’ll be on the record, but Kathryn has a lot going on right now. They’re definitely still close friends,” the insider added.
In another Kathryn Dennis news, he took to his Instagram story last night to share a quote from RuPaul before it was sent by Add Chestthat came out The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons there is the end.
“Know who you are and deliver whenever you want,” the quote reads.
Southern charm Season nine went into production earlier this month in Charleston, South Carolina.
