Kate Chastain indicated he was “happy” to be a single parent in the future. At Below Deck alum recently announced her pregnancy, and her due date was announced this spring.
40-year-old is also a castmate in Peacock’s The Traitorswhich shows several stars from Bravo, incl Kyle Cooke of Summer House and Reza Farahan of Shahs of the Sunset.
In an interview for Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Kate opens up about being a single parent.
“I’m very independent,” she said, via E! News. “I don’t really like people’s opinions that are different from mine, and I try to make myself go away. So I’m really excited that I’m going to be able to do this exactly the way I want to do it.
Kate explained Brandi Glanville – he traitor castmate – has given parenting advice.
“He sends her text messages every day,” the star said. “If I could read the text I got from Brandi, it would go viral. She’s the funniest human being I know. She’s also smart and kind.”
“They give good parenting advice,” she continued. “And it’s always done in Brandi’s witty, direct style.”
Regarding the upcoming birth, Kate shared, “I feel so good… I have a little baby traitor holding me for four more months.”
About what makes her nervous about becoming a parent, the star teased, “Honestly, I like to sleep and I’m also lazy and selfish, so I think it’s an adjustment … But I just think that I love this child. like I love dog, everything will be fine, and people are sure that I will.
