Kandi Burruss have fought again after Tamara Braxton accused him and his wife, Todd Tuckerfrom trying to fight her last fall through drama involving her ex Real Housewives of Atlanta producer Carlos King.
After Tamar confirmed on Sunday night Watch What Happens Live that Kandi and Todd are the same RHO stars referenced when she shared an Instagram story claiming she was “threatened,” Kandi addressed the feud on Amazon Live.
“Now what I’m saying is … that’s not true. My husband never said anything to her. He didn’t threaten her. Nothing,” Kandi said on March 20, via Hollywood Life. “He and I have words, but he doesn’t. Some people like to change some things, but we can talk about it on a different platform. or not.”
In September 2022, Kandi accused Carlos of planning to make a biopic about her and Xscape without her permission. Thirst from Aaron podcast that he “stole [her] the group’s life story and sold it to TV One. But in her own interview on Dish Nation, Tamar said she doesn’t “agree [Kandi] called a thief.”
Then, after writing in his Instagram Story he was “threatened by a [peach emoji] and them,” Tamar said, adding that she and Kandi had a “real beef” because Todd “came up to me.”
A month later, on March 19 episode of WWHLTamar doubled down on her statement to Kandi and Todd, saying, “It really happened. I’m not lying. Like, I’m not looking for drama, whatever. This is what happened and it’s not funny.
She even spoke out on Twitter, writing, “The truth is Kandi [and] Todd wants to fight me,” and she shared a video on her Instagram Story, detailing her backstage talk with Kandi and Todd.
After announcing that she apologized to Kandi four times, Tamra said, through Reality rundown on Instagram, if Kandi doesn’t have it and start “mbuck-ing.”
“I got to a point where I was like, ‘Look at the dog, this isn’t it [the] Housewife. I don’t get paid to sit here and argue with you like this,” Tamar recalled. “I tried to break the situation … Then Todd-ina came out and like, he came and asked her and she said something to him and then looked at me in my face – you’re going to believe this. or not – [he] looked at me and said, ‘You know what it is.’
According to Tamar, she was shocked by Todd’s behavior.
“Me and Kandi or me and other women can argue all day, but when a man is in another woman’s face to threaten and harm them, that’s when the line is drawn,” she said. “There’s no reason for a man to go to a woman, period.”
Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
