Lately, we’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about Kailyn Lowry and Elijah Scott.
Does Kailyn have a secret baby? Did she and Elijah break up? Both sides? We don’t know, and they haven’t confirmed it.
It’s no secret that Kail has struggled with mental health struggles. Specifically, depression.
In a recent post, she opened up about her severe depression and how she prioritizes her mental health.

“Prioritize your mental health,” Kailyn Lowry captioned Reel’s Instagram video.
“Because if [weren’t] to @kcorreia23 & @natalie_a_k,” she admitted somberly, “I didn’t know I’d be here.”
Kail added: “He saw the signs, he was in my dark.” They also include the tag “Lexaprogirly.” Lexapro, of course, is a prescription antidepressant.

It seems to be a very clear reference to suicidal ideation. It’s dangerous, and it could claim Kail’s life.
Not all depression is immediately life-threatening. But suicidal depression can end a person’s life. Sometimes, without external danger.
Of course, Kail’s friends saw the red flags and helped Kail to help herself. Kailyn has friends, family, fans, and at least four children who all love and will miss her. And even without a loved one, life is worth living for.

As for the content of the Reel itself, it is usually a montage of photos from a trip to Thailand.
It begins with a simple message: “POV: your first flight and destination is Thailand after a year-long battle with severe depression.”
This is not a “POV” video, as Kailyn appears in the photo. However, kids on TikTok use “POV” to express the premise of a video or scenario. We cannot explain why. Most of TikTok is just an amazing algorithmic nightmare.

We are very excited about two things about this Reel, the caption, and the overall revelation of Teenage Mother franchise alum.
First and foremost, it’s a relief to know that Kailyn is alive and well.
We don’t necessarily agree with her choices. In fact, some of his decisions are very frustrating for fans – especially when obvious mistakes cost others. That doesn’t mean we wouldn’t be terribly sad if something happened to him.

The second thing that’s really important about this is that Kail doesn’t pretend that she got a foothold in her depression battle just by going to the beach.
Believe it or not, there are still some hellish clowns in this world who will try to suggest that “walking” is a magical cure for depression. It is not. Whether it’s yoga or a trip to the park. They can help (sometimes), but sometimes the activity is an expression of mental health rather than a cause.
However, Kailyn admits that this is her journey after her battle with depression. And he notes that he is, in fact, on antidepressants.
