Juventus have been deducted 15 Serie A points for alleged financial irregularities and false accounting, while Tottenham transfer chief Fabio Paratici has been banned from Italian football for 30 months for his involvement.
Paratici’s ban includes additional requests to cover the activities of UEFA and FIFA.
With 20 games left in the season, Juve are third in Serie A, 10 points off leaders Napoli. The points cut will go down to the middle table, outside the place for the European competition.
Italy’s national football federation (FIGC) has handed a 30-month ban to former Juve sporting director Paratici, who is now director of football at Spurs.
The court also ruled that former Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli was banned from holding positions in Italian football for 24 months.
Juventus denied any wrongdoing and said the accounting was in line with industry standards.
The Turin-based club and the officials involved – including Paratici – intend to appeal the decision to CONI (Italian Olympic Committee).
CONI has the authority to decide whether the decision is right or wrong, and cannot reduce or change the sanction.
Sky Sports News have contacted Tottenham for comment on the sanction handed down to Paratici – there is no suggestion he did anything wrong while at Spurs.
The decision came after the entire Juve board, including Agnelli, resigned in November.
The collective resignation comes after Juve’s financial statements were seized by prosecutors and Italian market regulator Consob last year over allegations of false accounting and market manipulation.
Furthermore, Juve posted an annual loss of £220m for last season – a record-breaking cost in the club’s history.
Juve’s next league game is at home to Atalanta on Sunday.
