Late last month, the internet was abuzz with Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez’s rumored feud. It even involved Kylie Jenner.
Selena didn’t do anything, but of course looking at like her ex-husband and her makeup mogul friends were shading her.
Justin’s team launched a media blitz. If you’ve noticed a lot of puff pieces about Hailey over the past few weeks, that’s why.
And now, it looks like Justin is using his birthday to throw more fuel on the fire – by ghosting Selena. That, lest we forget, perhaps only people have not participate in this.
Over the weekend, Justin Bieber enjoyed a birthday party. He turned 29 on March 1, but even celebrities postponed the wedding until the right time. Just sometimes.
Obviously, Hailey Bieber was there. She is his wife. And the guest list is full of celebrity names.
Each guest received a metal party favor. The favor featured an engraved quote that read: “I’m so thankful that I didn’t get what I wanted.”
Is that quote just a coincidence? Perhaps. Hey, maybe the Biebs had it planned years before.
After all, Justin has (hopefully) matured well over the years. We have certainly witnessed aspects of growth, and there may be more going on behind the scenes.
There must have been many things that Justin could have wanted, or believed he wanted, that he no longer wanted. But … wow, in the context of recent events, it’s hard to not thought Selena.
Now, Justin and Hailey’s marriage is old news.
But just a few months before he proposed to Hailey, who recently rekindled an old flame, Justin was barking up a very different tree.
Not only did he manage to (temporarily) win Selena back – he is, according to many reports, actively pursuing her as his wife.
In fact, when Justin and Hailey suddenly started dating a few months after Selena’s last split, fans noticed an alarming pattern.
Justin and Hailey reportedly went on a “church date” at the highly controversial Hillsong megachurch. Allegedly, the people who work in the church are more or less pushing the idea that the two should get married.
It didn’t sound like Hailey needed that much encouragement. She has loved the Biebs since she was little. He popped the question, and they tied the knot.

But is it really his fault? We’re not saying it’s Selena. Although the woman is not responsible for the time of the proposal, or that used for the date.
Of course, Hailey doesn’t have to keep repeating Selena’s public statements in her own interviews. But … Justin still has a huge tattoo of Selena on his skin. That can really mess with people’s heads.
