Josh Duggar Prison Release Delayed Due to Illegal Cell Phone Smuggling

We have bad news for Josh Duggar.

And good news for those who think Josh Duggar is a disgusting and unethical individual who deserves everything that happened and will happened to him.

And this news:

The former car salesman and reality star will spend more time in prison than was decided at his sentencing last May.

Josh Duggar smiles in one of his many, many mug shots.

As you may have heard, Duggar was thrown into solitary confinement last month after sneaking a cell phone into his jail cell.

Based on online records of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, he will now be released from the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Seagoville in Texas on August 22, 2032.

The original release date was August 12 of the same year.

It’s only a 10 day delay, yes. But we’re guessing every extra second behind bars will be miserable for Duggar.

The father of seven was transferred to FCI Seagoville in June 2022 after an Arkansas jury found him guilty of receiving child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography in December 2021.

A judge finally dropped the last charge in the TLC alum’s sentencing court.

But Duggar is still accused of downloading photos and videos from his computer of children under the age of 12.

Meanwhile, a new report has come out detailing Josh’s condition while incarcerated.

Josh’s arrest marks the beginning of the end of the Duggar media empire.

A former inmate who spent time in the Secure Housing Unit who now lives with the Duggars told friends on The Ashley’s Reality Roundup this week that living in the “hole” is “sad.”

Here’s what we know now, based on this individual’s report:

Duggar lives in a small cell (about 10 x 6 feet) with other inmates and is only allowed outside once a day — even outside, Josh was confined in a 20×20 cage area with two other prisoners.

“Whenever you’re moved, you have to be held at the cell door,” the former inmate told The Ashley.

“If I want to go out for a break, we’ll both be handcuffed, then they’ll take me out of the cell and release them.”

The Duggars can only shower on designated days while in the SHU.

“Most inmates would take a bird bath, which is basically washing your body in your cell with the sink,” the former inmate said.

“It’s your only option when you’re not in the shower.”

Josh gets three meals a day, every time he shoved through the slot in the door. This is, more or less, the only food we receive every day.

Once in solitary confinement, Josh was only allowed to get two books from the book basket that arrives every two weeks.

They are also not allowed to have visitors and are limited only one 15-minute phone call a month.

“You constantly have people walking around looking at your cell door like you’re an animal in a zoo,” the inmate added.

“Once a week, there is a meeting where all the top brass talk about everyone in SHU. Then they walked on, and ‘saw’ the inmate they were just talking about. It’s humiliating.
