The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe throat has reportedly been sued for over $110K by the construction company that oversees the building and Melissa throata new mansion.
According to court papers obtained by The US Sun, Joe was originally sued by the contractor in November 2022 for $30K for failing to properly pay for work completed on the Franklin Lakes property and construction costs.
However, the original amount has now been changed by the County Concrete Corporation to $110,927.58 because the company stated that it supplied building materials to Gorgas from September 2021 to January 2022.
“Plaintiff has made numerous attempts to contact defendants,” court documents read. “The defendants failed to pay the money owed to the plaintiff for the materials previously supplied. The defendants failed to fulfill their obligations to the plaintiff. The defendant’s failure was a breach of contract.
County Concrete Corporation demanded a jury trial to try and get the amount Joe allegedly owed. The owner of the construction company has not commented on the original lawsuit or the amended complaint.
Melissa and Joe may want to work things out, as the outlet also reports that the divisive reality couple is in danger of being fired from Real Housewives of New Jersey after going out with family members and showing OG Teresa Giudice.
“This could be Melissa’s last season. When Teresa is done with you, you’re done with the show. It’s happened in months to former cast members, and it could happen to Melissa,” the source alleges.
The source continued by explaining that Bravo producers know Teresa “runs the show,” and if forced to choose between Teresa and Melissa, the latter would go first.
“If it happens that Teresa threatens not to come back because of Melissa, then Melissa will be fired,” he said.
Gorgas and Teresa have been at odds ever since rumors began to spread that Melissa was having an affair with an actor. Nick Barrotta. There is also tension about Teresa making almost no effort to include Melissa in her marriage to her husband. Luis alleys during the 13th season of RHONJleading to “the final betrayal.”
The feud between the brothers-in-law became so “toxic” that Joe and Melissa refused to attend Teresa’s August 2022 wedding after an “explosive” fight between Joe and Luis during the show’s season finale.
The two have allegedly had “zero contact” since filming wrapped on season 13. However, they are still following up on accusations and disparaging comments about each other through interviews and social media posts.
“They can’t imagine being in the same room,” the source said, adding that they will be in his presence “will be at the reunion.”
