We have heard a lot about the conflict between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
The brothers-in-law clashed on and off camera. It happened last year. And it happened before Teresa’s wedding.
Teresa recently threw some brutal shade in Melissa’s direction, pretending while praising her apart sister.
Even Tre’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, was shocked by how he treated some of his family members.
It started when Teresa Giudice sent her sister-in-law, Veronica, a birthday wish.
Dr. Veronica Ruelas is the sister of Luis Ruelas. Ever since Teresa married Luis (against everyone’s advice) last year, the woman became her son-in-law.
Teresa called her, calling her “the sister of my dreams.” That line, in particular, makes a lot of people cringe.
Even Teresa’s ex-husband picked it up.
“I thought you loved Melissa,” he wrote on Instagram, in the above image captured by commentbybravo.
He began to replace this with the simple comment “beautiful.” Bland and meaningless.
We can’t prove it, but one has to wonder if Milania played some sort of role in Joe’s change-of-comments.
Because he left a bunch of comments on the post.
You know what’s a good way to reduce the chances of lots of people seeing your dad’s comment before you delete it? Leave a bunch of your comments in the hope that they get buried when you text. Just a thought.
Remember, Teresa’s conflict with Melissa is more than just petty family squabbles. It’s not just drama on screen either.
Of course, many Housewives fight each other on screen. But there are limits to normal hostile reality TV.
Meanwhile, Melissa and Joe Gorga’s fight with Teresa gets so intense that they don’t attend the wedding.
It’s a big problem. You can miss someone’s birthday party. They won’t have birthday parties anymore, but they will almost certainly have them again in the years to come.
Marriage is not the same. Although marriages do not last forever, future weddings are not guaranteed.
And although there are people who regret meeting with their ex-partners, refusing to attend the wedding becomes personal.
In time, maybe Joe and Melissa can mend fences with Teresa. It might help if Teresa regrets marrying Luis. Or maybe not. You never know Teresa.
It’s a shame that the conflict in this family is so intense. But this seems natural when we’re talking about multiple reality cast members.
Either way… maybe Joe Giudice doesn’t need to comment publicly.
