
The former Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa and your husband Robert Nunes who called it quits after four years of marriage.
Joanna posted the following statement to her Instagram page on Monday, March 27, asking for privacy as the couple moves forward in dissolving their union.
“My wife and I have made a joint decision to separate. We have a personal agreement between us that our business, and we move forward as friends and still live every day as a family for our daughter who we both put before ourselves. For the family, I will not commenting further on this only to say that each of us is committed to ensuring the happiness of others in order to be the best parents we can be as we move forward.
While Joanna remains tight-lipped about the details of the “separation,” according to court documents obtained by Page Six, Robert filed for divorce on March 24 in Los Angeles, California. They claimed that the two had been separated since early January, citing the official separation date as January 2, 2023.
Robert cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and asked the court to end his ability to enforce any spousal support Joanna may have been awarded. However, they are now not contesting the court’s power to decide how the couple’s marital assets should be divided.
The couple married in July 2018 in a ceremony held in Poland, and the two have a three-year-old daughter, Asha-Leigh. Robert asked for legal and physical custody of Asha.
In addition, the document does not mention any prenuptial agreement that may affect the outcome of the separated couple’s divorce.
Joanna comes across as genuine RHOM Housewives during the franchise’s inaugural run from 2013 to 2017 and became a polarizing figure among fans. Since RHOM‘s subsequent revival, some fans called Joanna back, however, the star has expressed no desire to return to the picture.
“During 8 years, I have become private and my priorities have changed especially after having an amazing daughter. I like to work, I have a good and long-lasting TV show in Poland, and continue to do other projects,” he said earlier on social media .
