Nine months after him announced the split from Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, filmmaker Abdulrasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz, has reportedly taken a new wife.
The 45-year-old musician turned filmmaker married Falilat Raji, a resident of Kogi state, in a private ceremony in Kano.
Although the party was held on February 10, according to the invitation card presented by blogger Tosin Adams, the video and pictures of the party, which appeared on social media on Thursday evening, suggest the same.
This is the second time the “We are Africans” crooner will officially get married.
His highly publicized marriage to Ms Akindele, the PDP Deputy Governor candidate in Lagos State, was contracted in London in May 2016.
Aside from the set of twins they welcomed in 2018, they are a rewarding partnership. Together, they produced one of Nollywood’s biggest movies, Omo Ghetto: the Saga II, which grossed over N600 million at the box office.
However, before his marriage to Akindele, JJC Skillz had three children from three women.
Although it is not clear if he is married to one of them, one of his ex-partners is Taiye Fajemisin, Tamira’s 25-year-old mother.
Another former couple, Mella, aka Snoop Mommy, is the outspoken mother of their son Benito.
He also has a teenage son whose identity is unknown

Although JJC has not revealed the news of his marriage, Benito confirmed it when he harassed her (JJC Skillz) to remarry and also abused his family name.
Making fun of his father in the comments section of an Instagram post by Instagram blogger, Cutie_Jullss, Benito sarcastically reminded him of his past union and expressed concern for the newlyweds.
He wrote, “Husband number 100, Kmt. I feel sorry for him.”
No more Bello, Meet Benito Andrews
Benito, a thorn in his father’s side, also blames his family name.
In a now-deleted post, Benito, a teenage model, revealed that he is no longer Bello.
He wrote, “yall please get it right; my name is Andrews now; I’m not Bello.”
He asked the public to familiarize himself with his new identity and accompanied the announcement with a photo of his new father, a certain Mr. Andrews, whose name he adopted.
This is not the first time Benito has trolled or called his father out on social media.
In June 2022, Benito made some shocking revelations about Akindele’s marriage to her father, JJC Skillz.
He said his father and Ms. Akindele were having an affair.
They put rumors to rest after attending the AMVCA nomination party separately in March 2022.
On April 10, the couple made headlines over claims that their marriage was on the brink of collapse due to Akindele’s controlling behavior.
Amidst rejections and constant displays of love on social media, Benito, in a live chat with his fans on Instagram, said that Akindele and JJC Skillz live in an unhappy home.
Benito noted that he didn’t care about them after what they claimed he had done.
He added that he is ready to open up and doesn’t mind receiving punishment from his father or anyone who claims to be fed up with the manipulation.
Less than two months later, JJC confirmed Benito’s claim that their marriage was in crisis when they announced their separation.
