Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)’s latest attempt at Democrats on Twitter did not go down well.
On Thursday, Jordan heaped praise on Donald Trump’s White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, writing she is “not afraid to answer tough questions.”
“Why the Biden White House?” he added.
Critics immediately warned the Ohio congressman about McEnany’s penchant for pushing falsehoods and defending baseless claims from former President Donald Trump.
Although McEnany, now a host on Fox News, swore to reporters during his first briefing: “I’m not going to lie to you. You have my word for it.”
“Because it’s easy to lie,” commented one commenter.
Another said: “If you’re a shameless liar, the answer is easy to find, Gym.”
Some Twitter users also noted that Jordan ignored allegations of molestation against the team doctor while he was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University. He denied the claim. He also recalled refusing to cooperate with a House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, riots at the US Capitol.
