Jessica Simpson once sang that her boots were made for walking.
Turns out, the singer also has some tea made to spill.
In a new short story written for Amazon Original Stories, Movie Stars, Simpson opens up for the first time about the relationship she had last year with a married movie star.
However, he never mentioned the name.

“It’s a very personal story and I don’t think I’ll share it!” the 42-year-old told People Magazine in the promotion of the piece.
“The whole period was very surreal.
“There are times when I’m really happy, don’t get me wrong!
“But a lot of the time it felt isolating because I’m a person who likes to interact with people a lot and I don’t know who I can trust and who I can’t.”

The Dukes of Hazzard revealed that she met her unnamed friend at Jennifer Lopez’s VMA after-party in 2001 when she was taking a break from her first boyfriend, Nick Lachey.
He didn’t understand when the man was talking
But after the first intense kiss, Simpson saw a picture of his lover and his then-girlfriend on the red carpet.
“I would never in a million years be another woman,” he says now, noting that the movie star assured him that the relationship was “completely over” and that he only had eyes for her.

Still, Simpson continues to gather with the celebrity.
He even details how a visit to him on the set of the movie made him feel like he was only there to “have sex” with a mystery man.
“Yes, there’s something sexy and amazing about it, but there’s also something humiliating about it,” Jessica says.
“I think I’m a call girl. I don’t care if it’s a teenage fantasy, it’s not a choice that the same, younger girl would be proud of.

Simpson has regrets, yes. But he also learned some valuable life lessons from the relationship.
“Not betraying your own heart and diminishing your true self-esteem is better than the immediate satisfaction of living a lie,” he continued.
“I also learned that there are many different meanings of monogamy in Hollywood!”
Simpson is currently married to Eric Johnson, with whom they have children Maxwell, 10, Ace, 9, and Birdie, 3.

“I’ve learned that self-love is one of the keys to loving others and true love doesn’t make you question yourself or what’s real,” added Simpson.
“Thanks to your soulmate and your wonderful husband, I can love passionately and without fear of pain.”
