But on Tuesday’s Fox News episode of “The Five,” Watters and other panel members like Greg Gutfeld and Jeanine Pirro seemed worried that the Pence news could ruin the good times they’re having at the president’s expense:
WATTERS: I mean, Pence, seriously. We have this great thing with Joe…
GUTFELD: Yeah, and he just destroyed it!
PIRRO: Yes!
WATTERS: Come on, man!
GUTFELD: Now what are we going to do?
Watters seemed disappointed that Pence did not commit a crime by not trying to hide the evidence.
“I mean, they could screw it up. We’ll never know,” Watters said.
Gutfeld pointed out that Pence’s honesty created another problem for the network.
“And we have to be fair and balanced and show both sides,” he said.
Watters said: “I understand. Now we have to show them both! And you know Pence is very clean. Clean clean. It’s not like the shoddy paperwork that Joe Biden did.
Gutfeld then wondered if Pence was reporting the document so people wouldn’t forget.
“Do you think he just wants to be put in?” he asked rhetorically.
“He was like, ‘Hey, I’m president too. Investigate me! I’m looking at classified stuff!'” Watters replied.
