Jessa Duggar Slammed as Hypocrite Following News of Life-Saving Abortion

Last week, Jessa Duggar shared some exciting news with her fans.

In a 19-minute video posted to her YouTube page, Jessa revealed that she miscarried during the 2022 holiday season.

The initial response from the public was one of kindness and support, as the harshest critics of the Duggar family were quick to thank Jessa for her courage in sharing her story with the world.

However, some people are starting to take issue with the language Jessa uses when telling her story.

Jessa Duggar announced in February 2023 that she miscarried her fifth child. It’s really heartbreaking.

The Duggars, as you know, have long been unequivocal opponents of women’s right to vote.

Abortions performed with the intention of saving the life of the mother are still legal in Arkansas, but certain extremists would prefer that they be banned instead.

Now, some observers believe that Jessa sidesteps the issue and refuses to admit that the abortion saved her life.

Jessa’s condition has received widespread media coverage, some of which has helped shed new light on the nature of the procedure that saved her life.

“Because of the risk of complications when passing the fetus at home, she decided to go to the hospital to perform a dilation and curettage procedure to remove the fetus from the womb,” he wrote. people magazine,

Some media, such as Arkansas Timeshave noted that dilation and curettage procedures are usually referred to as abortions.

Hopefullyno one wanted to make Jessa’s life more difficult for so long.

(There was a time when we would say “obviously” like that, but this is the internet in 2023. Criminals are around every corner.)

Good participants in this conversation only show that the issue of abortion is more complicated than the Duggars and other absolutists make it out to be.

As many know, Jessa is deeply anti-choice, but her views on access to reproductive health care are at least more compassionate than her parents’.

“We’re not against birth control,” she once said in one of her YouTube videos.

“While we are not against preventing pregnancy or child spacing or anything, there must be a category where it is morally wrong for Christians to harm their unborn child,” he added.

“We know that children are a blessing from God, but like any blessing, it is not good to manage it.

Perhaps Jess feels differently about the issue because of recent events – but maybe not.

No one can talk about their feelings.

But hopefully, the complexity of this situation will cause those who would deny life-saving health care to pregnant women to pause and think about their attitude.

After all, if the worst extremists had their way, Jessa might not be with us anymore.
