Jenna Ortega & Fred Armisen Team Up To Remake The Parent Trap On SNL – Plus More Highlights HERE!

Jenna Ortega told him all in this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.

The 20-year-old actress stepped into the Studio 8H stage at the weekend to make his debut – the youngest host of the year! And this might be the funniest episode so far this season, so get ready for major laughs, Perezcious readers!

Given that Oscar weekend, the sketch comedy series obviously spoofed the red carpet event during the cold opening. Afterwards, Jenna opened the show with a fun monologue about the various horror and “dark” roles she’s played throughout her career – incl. Wednesday, X, Scream V, Scream VI, and a horror remix of a toothpaste ad – and tells the audience:

“A lot of people think I’m dark and twisted in real life because of the roles I play. But I’m not like that. I think my face is something to look at, and they’re like, ‘Hey! Let’s throw some blood.'”

LOLz! When in You star seemed a little nervous at first, she became more playful and at ease when she Wednesday stars (and SNL alum) Fred Armisen join him on stage. See the sweet reunion (below):

Elsewhere on the show, Jenna teams up with Armisen to make a remake The Parent Trap. with Yang Bowen acting as a director, told a crew member (Armisen) to act as Jenna’s body double for the scene where Annie and Hallie figure out their twins. In fact, for about five minutes the 56-year-old actor hilariously promoted the sketch – including commenting on how “hot” Shawn Mendes is and show love for Lisa Rinana. See what happened (below):

Later, Jenna appeared in a pre-recorded skit with the man “Please Don’t Destroy”. A burning star joins the group on the road – and as you might expect, the thrill of the adventure quickly fades once reality returns. Check it out (below):

And hands down, the best sketch of the night was a sketch about a CW-esque romance teen show having two characters break up with each other in front of a Waffle House. Yes, Waffle House. When this creepy scene plays out, complete chaos erupts in the restaurant! You need a funny sketch (below):
