If you follow her on social media, you probably know that Jenelle Evans is very active on OnlyFans these days.
Jenelle uses her Instagram and TikTok accounts to promote subscription-only pages on “spicy sites,” which is standard procedure for adult content creators.
When covering an issue like this, we always remember that there is nothing wrong with it incorrect with the type of work, and the legal forms are perfectly legitimate ways to earn a living.
Unfortunately, there will always be some criticism, but that is true of any content anyone post online in 2023.
It takes a confident and emotionally stable person to post clear content and ignore the haters that will trigger it.
You’ll bet Jenelle fits that description.
Anyway, Jenelle lashed out at her critics again this week in response to some rando’s comments suggesting she should choose a more “responsible” profession.
“No, but really, if he’s a responsible adult like he claims to be, then he shouldn’t be promoting his own ‘side job’,” this person commented.
“If I were a responsible adult, I’d pay the bills, wouldn’t I?” asked Jenelle.
“I’ll make money to pay the bills. I guess I’ll do that, huh?”
From there, Jenelle launched her decision to publish mute for life:
“There are so many ways to make money these days, so I promote and do promotions for Chinese products that will break when I get customers?” he asked.
“No, I didn’t do it. I will not manipulate social media for my fans.
The moral outrage about “Chinese products” is a little strange, because Jenelle has never been very selective about her sponsored content deals.
But anyway…
“So I will find a different way to make money, and if the site is spicy, more power to me, right? I have to pay taxes on this,” he said.
“It’s a real job, believe it or not. So, while you’re sitting here hating it, I’ll be lying in bed, making money.”
“Everyone hates Farrah [Abraham] for this and they kicked her from the show for it. Now it’s acceptable,” one follower said in the post.
“Yeah everybody keep bringing him up” with a laughing emoji,” Evans replied.
“Considering that Jenelle is no longer on the show, what’s so important about Farrah,” another aptly commented.
Well, the Farrah comparison is a bit odd, since she and Jenelle are on different shows, and the decision to fire Abraham may have more to do with his behavior on set than his work in the adult film industry.
Additionally, Jenelle was fired amid accusations of animal abuse and child neglect, but complaining about being a victim because of sex work was a convenient way to muddy the waters.
Anyway, it seems like a week or so ago that Jenelle made one of those videos where she pretends to be confident about her decision, but clearly suppresses her anger.
Some may take it as a sign that he is not too confident for this kind of work, but of course he has to decide.
