One of the new couples includes Jen Boecher and Rishi Singh.
Rishi is a total hottie, and works as a professional model despite his impressive educational background.
Meanwhile, Jen wasn’t interested at first. And his history of wandering and inappropriate exes make him think he made a mistake.
Season 4 actually introduced us to Rishi, from Jaipur, India, before he met Jen.
The 32-year-old professional model doesn’t consider herself a professional hottie. He has a law degree and a Master’s degree.
Rishi knows that there is more to life than being really, really, ridiculously beautiful. But they can do it too.
Rishi walks in watching his hair care routine. As you can see, it consists of various ingredients.
The actual hair care process takes about half an hour – and she does it every other day.
Obviously, it’s a lot of work. But the results speak for themselves.
Rishi notes to the camera that he is the only person sporting long and beautiful curls in his area.
Long hair, care this is the way of life. Some men let their toxic masculinity stop them from living their best lives. Not Rishi, it seems.
And it’s not just about hair. He is a fitness trainer by trade, and his body is very clear.
Some fans are predicting that Rishi and Jen’s storyline will include some jealous moments.
He’s a really hot guy. And we have seen them offer fitness training for women. Will this be a problem for Jen?
Wait, speaking of Jen, we got to meet her at the premiere too.
Despite Rishi’s good looks, Jen Boecher admitted on camera that he didn’t make a good impression.
When they first met, he immediately showed her modeling photos. It is, it seems, a turnoff.
But they talked more and, “for some reason,” Jen found herself falling for someone. It was all months later when he proposed.
Now, which was meant to be when the premiere was filmed (almost a year ago), Jen lives with her family.
He has lived in many cities and has a lot of life experience, but he still knows his way around a farm.
We saw Jen feeding the animals and driving the tractor. But this was not part of his long-term plan.
Although Jen said “yes” to Rishi’s proposal after they had known each other for months, she knew how unusual this was.
And he admitted on camera that he has a “track record for wrongdoing people.”
Jen elaborated: “I’ll go for a guy who’s good-looking and charismatic. But in terms of a long-term partner, he’s not what I need.
Jen’s brother, Charles, respectfully expresses his misgivings about Jen’s plans to move to India to marry Rishi.
First, there are many unknown factors. Especially for Charles. He knew little about his future brother-in-law, and nothing about his character.
And number two…he knows that his sister has struggled with insecurities in the past. He was worried that this relationship would be ruined.
And we’ve seen some red flags, including a period of radio silence from Rishi.
We also see Jen’s very emotional reaction, perhaps out of character to the incident.
“I’d love to be wrong about this, but I just have a feeling. I feel like you’re drifting apart and maybe you’re not at all,” she videotaped Rishi during the moment.
“I will always love you. You’re like, my first love,” she said in the video.
“But I can let it go,” Jen said at the time, “because I have to love myself and I don’t like that I’m chasing you.”
Is that a sign of things to come? We have to wonder. …
