Jehane Thomas, a popular TikTok personality and mother of two young children, died unexpectedly last week after suffering from migraine headaches for months.
He is 30 years old.
The bad news was broken on Tuesday by friend Alyx Reast, who confirmed the death on a GoFundMe list that had been started in Thomas’ memory.
“Despite suffering from migraines and pain for months, his death was unexpected and we are all heartbroken,” Reast wrote on this page.
“Her two children, Isaac (3, almost 4), and Elia (1), were left without their mother.
“I have started this page in the hope of raising money so that these beautiful boys can have the best childhood, make memories and make them feel good.
“No one will bring the mother of the children, but I hope it will be a relief for the family, to know how much they are loved and supported.”
The social media star hails from Doncaster, England.
As well as being the co-owner of a successful small stationery business, she has almost 82,000 followers on TikTok, mostly using the platform to document her life as the mother of Isaac and Elia.
On March 15, just two days before his death, Thomas shared an update on his health while lying in his hospital bed.
He revealed that he was barely able to move… and that he was scheduled to go under the knife in the near future.
Thomas was also hospitalized a week before this operation.
“6 days in the hospital and I’m finally home with my kids,” she wrote on March 12, adding this month:
“It’s been a really tough week, not only physically but mentally.
“I’ve missed these two and feel like they’ve grown so much when I’m gone.
As of this writing, the aforementioned GoFundMe page has raised over $16,000.
In his last TikTok post two days before his death, Thomas explained why he was waiting for the above procedure, writing online:
“I’m waiting to see if I can take one of the Frovatriptan before the surgery because no other pain reliever takes this pressure or if I have to ride and hope the surgery gives quick relief.
“I can’t lift my head without wanting to hurt and I can’t walk, I have to be wheeled everywhere. That’s how this pain feels.””
