Jedidiah Duggar and Katey Nakatsu have exciting news to share.
The stars, who announced in mid-December that they are expecting their second child, have now revealed whether the baby will be a boy or a girl.
And he does it in a unique way.

Late last week, the Counting On alum’s brother James Duggar lit a fire for his many loved ones… the couple’s second child will be a girl.
Hooray, right?!?
Pink confetti and fireworks continued to light up the evening sky.

“We asked our brother James to set it up and boy, we were shocked (and entertained!) with what he came up with,” Jedidiah and Nakatsu captioned the participants on December 30, YouTube video of the event.
The couple, who are getting married in 2021, are psyched to find out they are expecting a daughter.
“This is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen,” Jedidiah said in the clip.
“We’re really looking forward to it, it’s like powder [be thrown onto] fire and it is supposed to turn pink or blue. [Instead] This car is flying everywhere and over the ramp that is made and into the water.

Duggar added: “We’re so excited to have a little girl, it’s going to look like [Katey]!”
In an unexpected move, the couple was also revealed in the name of future children.
“We think [son] Truett is going to be a girl and she’s not the name we chose which is…” the father-to-be told his family in the same video.
Nakatsu then chimed in, telling the group that they were going to call their daughter Nora Kate because:
“Nora means light and Kate means pure.”

The husband and wife got married in April 2021 and welcomed their first child just seven months ago.
Truett’s son Oliver “True” was born in May 2022.
“For a long time, I prayed for my future wife, not knowing who it would be. God answered my prayers beyond what I could have imagined in Katey,” wrote Jed via Instagram after the exchange of vows.
“We have enjoyed developing our relationship over the past year and every moment together has been amazing!”

On Friday, Jed summed up his next joy:
“We are just thankful for little Nora Kate and pray that her life is proof [God’s] grace for us, and even her name means pure light to the world that we use her life to impact … for you Lord.
“We are so thankful for this little boy that we have been blessed with.”
