Vice President JD Vance appealed for help on Thursday, and people on social media were quick to answer the call.
But it probably wasn’t the response he was hoping for as many used it as a chance to slam his boss, President Donald Trump.
“Like, if we’re trying to find a sex offender, tell us where the guy lives,” he suggested.
Many on social media were quick to tell him exactly where to find Trump.
Congress last year passed a law demanding the release of those files, but Trump’s Justice Department has not fully complied.
