Jax Taylor not surprised when we learn Tom Sandoval had an affair with his girlfriend of almost 10 years, Ariana Madixwith mutual friends Rachel Lewis.
During a recent interview, the Vanderpump Rules alum pointed to Sandoval’s alleged infidelity in the past when he slammed Raquel as “easy to control” and “easy to manipulate” and saw her and her husband again. Brittany Cartwright‘s latest encounter with his former co-star.
“I don’t want to say that I predicted it, but I predicted it. I mean, I’m just not surprised,” Jax revealed to Entertainment Tonight in an interview with Brittany on March 21. “They’ve done this before and no one believed me. This is not the first time.”
According to Brittany, who said he was surprised to know that Sandoval cheated with Raquel because he thought they were just “good friends,” His wife was referring to the season three drama surrounding the Miami girl, who Sandoval accused of cheating on Ariana with the beginning. in relation.
“Nobody believed me,” Jax recalled. “I’m the bad guy … Everyone can slide and get away with it [but] now you can’t hide behind me anymore, so now all the demons are coming to the surface.”
After revealing Sandoval and Raquel’s relationship, Brittany approaches Scheana Shay and Lala Kentrung.
“I was like, ‘Is this true?’ And he just rewrote yeah, like, all caps and I was like, ‘Oh my God, what about Ariana?’ Because, it seems, having to go through this in public is mortifying,” Brittany said. “Having to live in public and being embarrassed and, like, having to go through, like, I feel bad that Ariana has to go through this publicly.”
While Brittany had checked on Ariana several times, she hadn’t found her.
“[I’m] just try to be there for her as much as i can. I know he hasn’t been alone for a while, so that’s good,” Brittany said.
And for Jax, he said it was just a boy from Pump Rules to achieve.
“My name [Ariana] said with all the men, I was the only one who checked with him, I stood out from everyone. He was like, it’s just Jax Taylor who’s been in, you know, checking me out,” he said.
While Brittany and Jax kept in touch with Ariana, neither spoke to Sandoval. And, when they look back at the end with him, they reveal Sandoval with Raquel.
“I finally saw it [Sandoval] on Labor Day, we were at an event in Orange County, which is a couple of hours drive from our house, and he was with Raquel, which kind of made sense at the time, “Jax recalled. “I just didn’t think about it and now look back, it’s like, oh, I didn’t think about it.”
According to Jax, Sandoval never “controlled” Ariana. However, when it comes to Raquel, the situation is different.
“[Ariana]’she’s a very strong and independent woman and I feel like I can’t control her, and she can control Raquel so easily,” Jax said. “She’s so easy to manipulate, and you can control her just by looking at her… She’s so easy to control, you can say that he is very dependent. In the end, Jax gives Sandoval some advice.
“I think it’s gone in his head, a nine-man cover band and a little bar in a strip mall, like, that’s going to his head and he needs to, like, come down to earth and figure out what’s done… Just humble yourself, and show some sympathy ,” he encouraged.
“[Ariana]’s put up with a lot. He’s not the easiest person,” Jax added.
