Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright offer status updates with Stassi Schroeder and Clark is handsome when he appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
After virtual fans wanted to know how it was when Brittany met Stassi at the second birthday party Lala Kentrung‘s daughter, Ocean, ex Vanderpump Rules The star looked back at the enemy and spoke about Randall Emmett as Jax also dished on the new communication with his mother and run-in with Lisa Vanderpump.
“I would say I love and miss Stassi so much, but she actually contacted me when my dog passed away recently, and it was the first break for us, so she opened the door, and we actually gave each other a hug at the birthday party.” Ocean,” Brittany recalled in the March 22 episode of WWHL. “We talked for a while, and I said that I’m very happy that he has a son now, I just want the best for him, so it’s a very good time for us.”
“I miss him too. Beau is one of my closest friends, and of course, I love Stassi to death. She’s like a little sister, so like I said, I miss her a lot,” Jax said.
At WWHL: After the Showwhen fans wanted to know why she didn’t attend Stassi and Beau’s wedding, Brittany described the scenario as a “total mess.”
“We have a lot of stuff. Cruz’s passport didn’t come in.. We probably, like, waited too long. I took a lot of responsibility, and I regret not being there more. Jax fought all the time because he doesn’t like traveling out of the country, ” he recalled.
“That’s really not in the cards,” Jax interjected. “It was in the middle of COVID, going to another country with a new baby, spending $20,000 on a second wedding. We went to our first wedding.
“But, if he’s not at our house, we’re going to be really upset. I understand why they’re upset with me. I am,” Brittany argued.
According to Jax, he believes Stassi and Beau’s decision to cut ties with him and Brittany was a bit much.
“Breaking up with not wanting to get married?” he asked. “We sent money. We sent him $500 because we felt so bad for the food. I thought $500 would cover the food at least. I don’t know what else we can do. I’m sorry.”
Meanwhile, Brittany was more empathetic, saying, “It’s a sentiment, an emotional connection, and we’re not there.”
When Stassi tries to get Jax and Brittany’s money back, Brittany says that she tried to block it, so she can’t send it back.
“I’ve tried so hard to make things right,” he noted. “I asked him to be tired.”
“I know too, but can we go ahead and say, ‘Hey listen, let’s go squash, we’re good friends. Life’s too short,'” Jax replied.
As for what Brittany has come to terms with Katie Maloneywho stopped talking to her amid her marriage drama with Stassi, Brittany said Katie “still hasn’t talked to me.”
“Katie and I never fight, so it’s really hard for me,” she admitted when her husband Jax overshadowed Katie’s antics.
“He’s so far away from Stassi… It doesn’t make sense. High school,” he said.
Back on the live broadcast, Jax was asked about Lala’s claim that her ex-fiancé owed him money.
“We are working on it. What are we doing? [$70,000]?” she asked Brittany.
“More,” he replied, then confirmed the amount was less than $200,000.
Then, after the host Andy Cohen asked if Jax borrowed Randall’s money, thinking that the two of them would ‘produce’ a movie,” Jax refused to confirm what the money was for.
He then broke the news about his relationship with his mother, which he hasn’t talked about since his father’s death in December 2017.
“I just texted him, two weeks ago,” he said. “We haven’t spoken since we got married, since we had a son. Nothing happened. So it started.”
As for what drove him to get there, the honor goes to his almost 2-year-old son, Cruz.
“I’m going to feel bad if Cruz gets old and says, ‘Hey, dad, are you trying? Are you trying to reach your mom?'” he explained. “And I just feel like I’m going to kick myself if I don’t.”
Also, on the show, Jax describes his new relationship with Lisa.
“I haven’t seen him since… That [been] forever,” he said. “I’m out on TomTom. I ran into him a week and a half ago. ‘How are you? How is your grandson? How is your child?’ She was really nice, just typical Lisa.
