Jax Taylor believe Tom Sandoval responsible for Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloneysplit.
During the first of three episodes Watch Karo feature on Peacock Saturday, Jax and his wife, Brittany Cartwrightin response to the latest episode of Vanderpump Ruleswith Jax admitting that he previously thought Katie was “wrong” and Brittany rules an update on her friendship with her former co-star.
“We still have love for each other,” Brittany said of herself and Katie on April 13 via Us Weekly. “It’s crazy to see Katie because she’s actually my matron of honor. We’re close. And I’ve barely heard from her in the last year.
As Pump Rules fans also know, Katie distanced herself from Brittany after Brittany and Jax pulled out Stassi Schroeder and Clark is handsomeThe May 2022 wedding in Rome, Italy was at the last minute – and gave plenty of reasons for their decision, much to Stassi and Beau’s dismay.
“We’ve never fought and I don’t hate her, but it’s really weird because I don’t know how she feels about all of this,” Brittany said of Katie. “It makes me sad.”
Although Brittany and Katie are no longer close, Brittany was upset by Wednesday’s episode Pump Rules because it shows Schwartz betraying Katie by hooking up with someone in their friend group, Rachel Lewiswhich they vowed not to do.
As for Jax, he also commented on Schwartz and Katie’s breakup, admitting that he previously believed that Katie was wrong, so he has changed.
“I always thought it was Katie’s fault. I really did,” he explained. “But Tom didn’t go first.”
Schwartz was also negatively affected by Sandoval, who was in the middle of opening a business, Schwartz & Sandy’s, when he and Katie’s divorce was announced.
“I think they had a lot to do with why they divorced,” Jax told Brittany, also via Us Weekly . “I’d like to think that they wouldn’t be together if it wasn’t for Sandoval… As much as Katie scared me, I knew what she meant.”
“Oh, yes,” Brittany replied.
When Katie accuses Schwartz of always drawing everyone but her, Schwartz defends himself against the claim. Watch What Happens Live earlier this month, said Katie “demands unconditional loyalty” – even when she should not have.
“He was abusive [the request to defend her] a little bit. He’s always angry and he’s like, ‘You’re either with me or against me,'” he said. “He’s better now. Katie, I love you, but in the beginning, he was a monster. … She has fallen out with every single person in her life many times. And I just don’t like getting dragged into all that and I guess I become a little numb when he really needs me. Like a child crying wolf.”
