Jared From Subway Doc Reveals Sickening Sexual Comments Infamous Sandwich Spokesperson Made About Kids

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

We’ve covered the shocking story Jared Fogle‘s sickening crime as told in the new Investigation Findings documentary series, Jared From Subway: Catching Monsters.

As Perezcious readers will remember, late last week, two victims spoke candidly about the former Subway child pornography bad spokesperson and proclivities of sexual abuse before conviction on charges of sex crimes involving minors. Now, more content from the document has been released – and it’s shocking.

In documentaries, journalists Rochelle Herman interviewed about the activities that led to Jared’s arrest and conviction. Years ago, when she was working at a Sarasota, Florida, television station, a whistleblower recorded her conversations with him about underage girls. All of this happened after he admitted to surprising her about how he found high school girls to be “hot” during their initial conversations.

Herman had no evidence to go to the police after that initial moment raised suspicion. But slowly, she started recording her phone calls with Jared. As he becomes more comfortable with her, he reveals his darker and more disturbing thoughts. In the doc, Herman explains his goal with the ongoing conversation:

“I give the appearance of being someone you can trust.”

At first Jared took Rochelle back to his hotel room. Once there, he allegedly asked her to tie her hair. He was immediately thrown off by the request, and left. He stayed in touch with Fogle, though, and began asking others about his sexual fantasies.

When he asked her during a long-distance phone call about why she feels attracted to young men, the former Subway spokesperson allegedly replied:

“She just has a beautiful, pure body, you know?”

And when Rochelle asked “how young” she wants to be, the weight loss guru replied:

“I don’t know, high school or something.”

Pressed further, Rochelle asked if a 9-year-old was acceptable, to which Jared replied:

“Yes, it will be hot. That’s going to be really hot.”

Vomiting…

At that point in their long-distance phone relationship, Herman had gone to FBI to report Fogle’s comments. Words alone cannot get an arrest warrant, though. However, the law enforcement bureau asked them to keep the recording to monitor Jared’s activities.

During the call, he asked Fogle about the youngest person he’s ever been friends with, and the public figure replied:

“I think 11 or 12 … I don’t remember their names.”

When asked about that experience and more about having sex with children, Fogle said:

“It’s definitely Thailand. I’d love for you to go with me. We can get any age you want. It’s just crazy, it’s just easy there. Different ages. I mean, you just pick who you want and what your price is and then you go.

It’s really disgusting.

Of course, as Rochelle points out on the phone, it’s unrealistic to “go to Thailand all the time.” Fogle agrees:

“No, so I have to find something here, you know?”

SICK!!!

In 2009, the FBI intended to mount a sting using Herman’s connection to Fogle as bait. He wanted her to travel to Florida with the “specific purpose of having sex with a minor,” as the doc explained. So, Rochelle invited Fogle to Sarasota for her own son’s birthday party! (WTF?!?!)

When discussing the party, Herman claimed Fogle’s comments quickly turned sexual. At one point, he said he asked:

“Are you going to do anything I say? Are you going to let me see your kids naked? What if we put a camera in the children’s room? Would they be okay with that? Would you rather have it in the son’s room or the daughter’s room? Which one is it?” Do you think it’s better? Tell me.”

That birthday party ended up not happening, thankfully. And the FBI still has no evidence to arrest Fogle.

Eventually, the bureau reviewed his business partnerswho is also the head of Jared’s non-profit foundation – someone else’s name Russell Taylor. Soon after, she discovered several child pornography relationships between her and Fogle.

The police moved in and arrested the two men. Since then, each has been sentenced to long prison terms, with the former Subway star landing in jail on a bid of 15 years. As for Herman, he used documents to explain the post-traumatic stress disorder he’s been suffering since trying to destroy him:

“The toll that working for the FBI took on my health was astronomical. The PTSD I suffered from it was devastating. I truly believe that when someone goes through years of non-stressful situations, you are vulnerable to other things.

Ugh.
