Janelle Brown: I Don’t Ever Want to Reconcile with Kody, But…

Janelle Brown was never seen again.

But the Sister Wives stars say they feel they should be hopeful.

On Sunday night, the mother of six opened up about her decision to walk away from spiritual partner Kody, speaking to host Sukanya Krishnan in part three of the Sister Wives: One on One special.

Back in episode one, Janelle admitted for the first time that she broke up with Kody.

“We’ve been apart for a few months now…and I’m happy,” Janelle insisted on air. “Really happy.”

She added that, today, there’s no love between the former partners — and she thinks Kody would say so if asked.

“It’s duty, it’s commitment, it’s faith that tells you to go out and you stick out,” continued Janelle about the only thing that even kept the couple together to the end.

“I think if we both really sat down, we would look at each other and say, ‘Really?'”

Janelle even said that it was “not heartbreaking” to end the marriage, possibly because she had a long talk with Christine Brown. they option to do the same over a year ago.

But, even though she’s not “waiting for him” to come back, Janelle said exercise feel that a romantic reunion between the stars should be considered.

Even if he doesn’t want to.

How is this possible?

“I think there might be, but it would require a lot of changes on our part, which I don’t understand,” he explained.

“And part of me thought, okay, my religion requires you to keep getting married, and I really believe in my faith.

“And I’ve been so peaceful, I don’t know how to solve it.

“So that’s where I debate with myself, because I know I like it.

“I don’t want him back, but my faith requires us to be married forever.”

You know, if someone treats you badly and if you feel better without them and if your faith makes you think you should stay with them… maybe you should reexamine that faith.

We’re just talking.

Asked if “the door is still open,” Janelle replied:

“Sure, but I’m not interested in anyone walking through that door.”

Earlier, Janelle toasted the new year, saying she was looking forward to what a Kody-free 2023 would bring.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kody shared his hopes for the future with Janelle:

“I’m going to fix it, yes. But this is a new discussion,” he told the host.

“I hope I can find a happy and good place with Janelle, and I hope my children and I can get along. Here’s hoping.”

Kody also admitted that he might be a one-woman man from now on.

“I’m hardly a polygamist, and it’s been part of my identity for 30 years,” the 53-year-old said.

“The funny thing for me now is, I’ve always been a forward-thinking person. I’m always thinking about the future, how big it is and how good it is now, but it’s great.

“Today, I think, well, today is good, but I also miss the past.”
