Janelle Brown wants to set the record straight.
A few days ago, someone told The Sun that the Sister Wives cast members were upset and concerned.
Why?
Because my colleague and close friend, Christine Brown, has a new and very serious looking boyfriend named David Woolley.
“There’s some distance between Janelle and Christine right now,” an insider told the outlet last week, adding:
“Janelle doesn’t agree with her new relationship. She thinks too much too quickly.
Although Christine’s separation from Kody Brown played out in the latest season of Sister Wives, the mother of six ended her spiritual marriage in November 2021.
She waited more than a year before starting a relationship with Woolley.
Now, in response to this Sun allegation – which was eventually picked up by the blog Without a Crystal Ball – a source told In Touch Weekly that Janelle “never said” she disagreed with Woolley … the force in her life.
“[Janelle] loved the way he treated Christine,” the source told In Touch.
“He’s a big welcome change from Kody [Brown].”
Christine went public with David on Valentine’s Day 2023, although she later wrote on Facebook that they started dating in mid-December.
“I finally found love from [her] life,” Christine wrote last month about Wooley.
“The first time he held me, it felt like my soul was breathing.
“He is wonderful and kind, amazing with my children and a wonderful grandmother. I never thought I could find love like this.”
Christine was Kody’s first partner to leave her polygamous marriage, confirming her decision to split from the former car salesman about 15 months ago.
“After over 25 years together, Kody and I have separated and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” the TLC star said via Instagram.
“We will continue to be strong in each other’s lives as we co-parent their beautiful children and support a wonderful family.
“At this time, we ask for mercy and kindness as we go through this stage in our family.”
Fast forward to now and neither Meri nor Janelle are married to Kody anymore.
He just married Robyn.
Janelle, for her part, has now officially moved in just yet – but sounds ready to do so.
“I’m not waiting [Kody]. I’m sad that a part of our lives is gone,” Janelle said in January. “I’m not heartbroken.”
