Jackie Goldschneider revealed where he stands with Dolores Catania after Dolores slammed her new act on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The mother of four also shared insight into her relationship with her sister, and she teased future drama.

During RHONJ After-ShowDolores shaded Jackie for the question Danielle Kab‘s drama with the estranged sister and insinuating Danielle is not telling the full truth. In the interview, Dolores then asked Jackie’s relationship with they sister, insinuating there was a missing piece of the puzzle.

In an interview with ET, Jackie revealed that she and Dolores are not fighting despite fan speculation.

“Can I explain [Dolores’ comment] for a moment?” said Jackie. “I’ll be honest here, and if you ask Dolores, she’ll tell you the same thing: Dolores and I had a fight, like an argument, OK? We had a fight on Thursday and … she did the show four days later next, on monday, then next saturday we give big hugs and, ‘I love you…’ and blah, blah. , blah!”

“She – we were angry, and she was really angry,” the star said, “and when Dolores was really angry, she didn’t deny it, so she did the show for a week when we were angry. They were fighting, and then it got really bad.”

Jackie, who did not explain what led to the fight, defends her own questions about Danielle’s story.

“I’m sorry, but if you’re going to be on a reality show, you have to be okay with people asking questions, right?” he asked. “I guess there’s nothing wrong with asking about stories that don’t seem to make any sense and also, ask anything my sister wants! I’ve said it a million times, and you’ll never see me go, ‘Stop bastard** the king is asking about your sister!’ Do you know? Like, I don’t think about the question about the sister, because the truth is the truth.

“For Dolores to say that I should worry about my own sister and not ask Danielle well, that’s why we’re on the show,” she added. “I mean, we have to ask questions to tell more stories. … I don’t know what he’s trying to say there, that, like we shouldn’t talk about our lives in depth in a reality show? I don’t know what he means, but I know that Dolores was angry with me that day, so I think she was very aggressive.

After Dolores’ recent interview, some viewers challenged Jackie’s previous phone call with her sister in the previous season – claiming it was staged, as her sister’s voice was not shown.

“No,” Jackie said. “My sister said, ‘I’m going to call this with you, but I don’t want to …’ – ’cause I texted her first; I said, ‘Okay, if I call you, will you pick up?’ He said, ‘Yes, but I don’t want my voice on the air…”

“I have no reason to fake,” the star continued. “I’ve had enough in my life. If my sister doesn’t want that part of the story in my season, then I’ll choose another one. I have 85 million stories that I can use as a storyline. No, no, no – we have that conversation and then follow through and make it plan, and during the summer I went to his house on the 4th of July, and then fell again.

“We don’t, like, hate each other,” Jackie insists. “If I call my sister now and need something, she’ll come. I know that.”

Jackie then points out why she didn’t call Danielle right away.

“Why would I go to Danielle with anything?” he asked. “Danielle eliminated me from the first cast show without reason. … She was not one of the nine people from the cast show, which I thought was so mean – to show or not to show, that was so mean – and when it happened, I really lost everything for him. I won’t go to him with concern or anything because I won’t be well received, and I won’t be respected.

She also discussed Danielle’s refusal to invite her to the next cast event after Jackie gave Danielle a shady look and dissed her wardrobe choices.

“I became very friendly with him at the skate party, which was the first time we met, and then the second time Margaret [Josephs’], yes, I looked at his clothes,” he explained. “I looked at him from head to toe, OK? I was just curious. I like to look at people’s outfits, and this is a special outfit, so I looked at… [but] he didn’t see it. I was behind him. I’m behind him.”

He denied that his behavior towards Danielle was an attempt to get back into the show full-time.

“I mean with Danielle it’s not going to be, like, midseason, if Bravo has decided, I’m going to go back to my role,” he said. “It’s completely absurd. I mean, I know coming into this season, I’m a friend. I know that this is already decided, so I don’t accept Danielle is not going to get me anywhere. That would just be stupid.

“Plus, you have to be a part of the group to stay on this show, so I’m going to pinch my own nose to humiliate my face, you know?” stars are added. “Danielle is not my rival. Honestly, if the show wanted 10 Housewives, it would have had 10 Housewives. I know he loves me, and I know why I can’t be full-time this season and I’ve talked about it. Danielle really has nothing [to] perform. This was decided before Danielle arrived on the scene.

“If it’s me or Danielle, and I have to destroy someone to get back, like, I’m going to say goodbye,” Jackie said. “It can’t be like that for me.”

The star also directed the drama in the latest episode, which he imagined Theresa Judgedispute with my sister Melissa Gorga. According to reports, family members have stopped talking.

“You start to feel divided, like this is getting worse and worse,” Jackie said. “Now, it’s so divided that we can’t be together in the same room. I’m very grateful that I won’t be participating in the reunion in more than a part-time role.

“I know that last year there was controversy and nothing this year,” he said. “I can’t imagine what’s going to happen this year. It’s terrible. We’re so divided. We can’t even be in the same room at BravoCon! We have separate panels, so I’m really sad. I’m sad. I feel terrible. and I don’t know how we all come back without everything being the same thing again, you know?

“I don’t know how I can do this again next season,” added Jackie. “We’re at such an impasse. If that’s the case, I don’t have a problem, man, with a lot of players. I don’t know that, like, I’m joined by Margaret, Melissa and that’s why I’m like on this side, but really, I feel good with almost everybody. Hear that, Dolores? Good with everybody!”

Regarding her sister-in-law, Jackie said that she is not sure how the next season will be filmed: “The thing is, yes they can. [film together again]but we’re going to have all the same scenes next season… So, I don’t know how it works, I don’t know.

“Teresa has been there since the first day, so you can’t imagine the show without,” said Jackie, “but again, Melissa too, I feel like this year she’s really strong. She’s always very good, she’s very strong. But people play an important role really in Jersey, too, and Joe GorgaIt’s the leader sir, you know? He wrangles men, he gets everything. He’s the life of the party, so I can’t– I think that if he’s not there, I don’t see him as an important entity in New Jersey anymore, so I can’t imagine it without one of them. I really can’t.”

Speaking of the mid-season trailer, which teased a fight between Margaret and Danielle, Jackie said, “I don’t want to give it away; I’m just going to say that nobody beats Margaret.

The final season ended with Melissa and Joe’s decision to skip Teresa’s wedding, although footage of what led to it is still under wraps.

“There’s been a lot of speculation, I want for Melissa – because she’s one of my dear friends – to let everyone know why she didn’t go to Teresa’s wedding,” he said. “I want everyone to really understand.”

Jackie admits that she may have started the conversation about having Margaret as an ‘enemy’ – a statement that has been circulating in the current season.

“I think I started last year when I said, ‘You don’t want Margaret to be your enemy…'” he says, but he admits to praising her for being a star. “I come from a place, Margaret, he’s smart. He knows things… Like, don’t mess with him, because he doesn’t mess around. If you go for him, he’ll come back for you.

“I’m almost, like, complimenting how… good of a combatant she is,” Jackie continued. “Like, you don’t want to mess with him. [Teresa and Jennifer] they say it as an insult, like, Margaret is sneaky and she is a bad person, so don’t mess with her, because she will destroy you. That’s the complete opposite of what I’m saying. I’m just saying that he is a very worthy opponent. It won’t be good if you go for him. He didn’t just let it go.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
