Although Jack has never publicly acknowledged Tessa as his daughter, paternity is an “open secret” in Hollywood – everyone knows who the father is and he’s not afraid to talk anymore!

But that is not always the case. On Wednesday, the aspiring actress sat down with the outlet and explained how she had to keep her father’s name out of her mouth:
“From a young age, my mother told me not to tell anyone that I had this famous father. I knew he was as powerful and rich as Daddy Warbucks, so I treated my life like Orphan Annie.
Tessa grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and attended a good private school as a teenager – all allegedly paid for by her father. Despite this, however, he does not have sex with One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest star:
“I was raised by a single mother in a very strong situation. I was dealt a really s**tty random card, but I will not let it destroy me. In fact, I will use it for fuel.
She didn’t say when she last spoke to Jack, but she said she “didn’t know him”, through no fault of her own:
“My mom wants me to have a relationship with her, but she says she’s not interested.”
When asked by the outlet why she doesn’t want a relationship, she guessed like everyone else:
“I don’t think anyone gave me a concrete answer. I formed my own opinion. She was a complicated person, and I think my mother was fighting her own demons, and with the combination of the two, I was just collateral damage.
Oof.
Tessa’s relatively non-existent relationship with the movie star didn’t stop her genetics from running deep according to her! He says he resembles his father:
“I’m crazy. I’m not the poster child for sanity, and I think I’m a little bit like my dad, from what I’ve read.
LOLz!!
The young woman also says she has a penchant for acting, just like Jack – but she’s not a nepo baby:
“I’m afraid people will think I’m tacky or that I’m riding their coattails. But this guy doesn’t want me in his life, so how are you going to use it to your advantage?”
Earlier this week, Tessa wrote an article for Newsweek the title I’m Jack Nicholson’s Daughter — I Wish People Could Call Me Baby Nepowhere he continues:
“Having grown up without my father, I sat on the sidelines and watched in frustration as other celebrity kids got roles smoothly or were signed to big agencies.
