America Won’t Have A Civil War If Trump Is Impeached. Trump Supporters Are Tired Of Being Imprisoned For Him.

It is hypocritical that Rep. Jim Jordan leads the committee looking to uncover unethical actions by the DOJ and the January 6 Committee. Jordan, while working as a wrestling coach at Ohio State, was accused years later by six team members of knowing about the sexual abuse of team members by the team doctor and not reporting it. Ohio, like many red states, refuses to hold elected officials accountable to the rule of law. ​​​​​​Ohio investigators dropped the case.
Jordan has defended Trump’s criminal behavior in every investigation against him. He celebrated the uprising as a good day for democracy. He is a dangerous hypocrite who wants America to be a one-party system with only Republicans. The constitution should be amended to not allow anti-democratic elected officials to remain in office simply because they were elected by the people.

The Subcommittee On Weaponization is a gaslighting strategy to encourage Trump supporters to believe that the DOJ is pursuing legal accountability for Trump with no legal merit. This MAGA narrative aims to dispel the truth that it is the party that weaponized the DOJ under former Attorney General William Barr, who is Trump’s personal lawyer and fixer. Examples of Barr’s abuse in his office include:

1) he misrepresented the findings of the Mueller Report that found Trump guilty of obstruction of justice, 2) he formed a false Trump request to be investigated into the Russia probe, 3) he put himself into the prosecutions of Trump’s allies, 4) he fired people whom Trump decided was not loyal and 5) he met frequently with Trump on matters that violated the DOJ’s independent standards.

Trump and Barr weaponized the DOJ and, in the process, normalized dangerous levels of government corruption. Barr should be investigated for colluding with Trump to move America towards autocracy. In the end, he abandoned Trump for his rebellion and “big lie.” He stopped activating when he ran into legal trouble so the price of remaining a Trump ally. He violated his oath of office and, unfortunately, could not.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy and other MAGA members of Congress are crying like babies over the possibility of Trump being impeached. However, former presidents must abide by the rule of law like ordinary citizens. That’s how democracy works – However, Trump and the Republican Party are now an autocracy. Trump is facing multiple charges that he has committed acts that violate the Constitution. His pattern of fraud and legal problems did not deter Republicans from voting him into office or voting against impeachment. Republicans have turned on deviant behavior, and have now taken control of the party. The good news for democrats and independents is that Trump is a loser and will keep Republicans from winning the election.

Kevin McCarthy has no respect for America. They know that Trump is responsible for the uprising. He knows the “big lie” is a lie. They know that Trump is responsible for not telling the rioters to stop the attack. However, his ego-maniacal need to be Speaker is more important than defending democracy. When Trump is impeached, no matter what the crime or the evidence, McCarthy will defend him. He should be charged. Republican House members from moderate or blue states need to grow a backbone and stop the corruption in the House by opposing McCarthy’s MAGA agenda.
