Season 4, Episode 4 of 90 Day Engagement: Another Way showing Gabriel and Isabel’s happy reunion.
Unlike some couples, they never went through a long separation. However, the big problem is that Gabe is not on vacation this time.
Gabriel moved in with her and her children, Sara and Miguel. They will live as a family.
Isabel hopes that Gabe will be more than just a husband – but also a father to her children.
In Sunday’s 90 Day Engagement: Another Way, Gabriel Paboga comes to Colombia. Isabel Posada and her children went to see him there.
This isn’t one of those “we’ve never met before” moments in the franchise. Gabe and Isabel have been together for a while. He knows and is very familiar with his children.
Sara is a young girl. He was very close to his mother, and he was very fond of Gabriel. He has praised Donyane as a person and as a partner of his mother, especially in comparison to some of Isabel’s toxic exes.
Miguel is younger. Isabel talks to the camera about how she and Gabe have a less than mature relationship. They, just put, behind the scenes.
Sara prefers to discuss life decisions with Gabriel. For his mother, this holds great promise for the future of her family.
“I brought him into my children’s lives, and I hope Gabe will be a father,” Isabel said.
The three of them were very happy to see Gabriel, and they were very happy together.
Although he hugged Isabel first, he hugged Sara and Miguel. And they all embraced him in a joyful group hug.
Obviously, anyone who shows this summary in this franchise knows that it is on camera. But love is very genuine.
Gabriel also had something to show Isabel, to her delight.
At first, he felt honored because he got his name tattooed on his arm.
And secondly, he has cleared his ex’s name from the back of his neck. Both tattoo works came from Monica’s sister’s boyfriend.
Isabel has a very different surprise for Gabe. Of course, the next day.
(We don’t know if the production filmed them when they got home, but nothing interesting happened. Sometimes, this is the pitfall of a healthy and happy couple)
He dares his fiancé to eat something without knowing what it is. He took her up on the offer.
We’ve seen this “food prank” before in the franchise. In this case, the snack is simply cow intestines – not unlike a sausage, really.
The two settled down for a rather heavy conversation as they considered where they were going.
Isabel shared with Gabe that Sara had known she was transgender since before she met him. Isabel had met her and was checking her Instagram with Sara by her side. He admits to being surprised – Sara never gave him a clue, or treated him differently. (It’s sad because so many trans people expect different treatment when someone finds out they’re not cisgender)
Miguel doesn’t know yet that Gabe is trans. However, as Isabel had discussed with some of her friends, she did not see him reacting to her concerns. He raised his children with good values.
(Even the best of households can sometimes breed bigots – internet radicalization exists, after all. No indication from Miguel, though)
The two of them wanted to talk to Isabel’s parents. Then, Gabe was able to secure his blessing to marry Isabel (he hoped) and then propose to her, officially.
Isabel expected her mother to be open-minded and reasonable.
He wasn’t sure about his father and how he would react.
It seems that Gabriel has met his parents before, but they don’t know that he is trans. Coming out to them may not be necessary, but it’s a step Gabe wants to take. They will be part of the family.
