Settle in! Winter is upon us – and it won’t be long before new and returning shows are back on our screens.
Fans of That ’70s Show will see the cast reunite in the upcoming spin-off, That ’90s Show. Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Wilmer Valderrama will meet again with Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp after starring in the original show from 1999 to 2006.
The comedy series, which will be released in January, follows Red and Kitty Forman as they watch their granddaughter, Leia Forman, while she is in town for the summer.
Ahead of the Netflix show’s premiere, Prepon opened up about her reaction to being back on set. “Very happy. It’s all the same set,” the actress teased Us Weekly in June 2022. “When I first went there, I cried. I was just like, ‘Nostalgia is so strong and it was an amazing time in my life.’ I can’t wait for people to see it. I think he’ll really get a kick out of it.”
According to Orange is the New Black alum, it’s “strange” not “strange” back to the roots as Donna.

“Romantic! That’s one of the things we liked about season 1 that was lacking in season 2 that we wanted to bring back,” he shared with Entertainment Weekly in July 2021. “This is a plan, a kind of character architecture to reveal some romance in season 3.”
Burke added: “In general, we shot out of the canon in season 2. And we want to have more room like teenage drama and teenage romance in season 3, as a general principle.”
As for the story line, the audience can expect Big John to play a big role in the next chapter Outer bank. “We always knew we had a chance and had this card we could play,” Pate said. “In the evolution of the season, it became more clear that we wanted to play at the end of the season. It’s definitely an idea that’s still there and thematically, it creates some things that we want to explore in the third season.
