Clashes erupted in Pakistan last week after police tried to arrest former prime minister Imran Khan at his home in Lahore.

The former cricket star-turned-politician was kicked out of parliament after a no-confidence vote last April, but that hasn’t stopped Khan’s political support. Millions have attended rallies, demanding early elections in Pakistan.

That’s despite the many accusations he faces – from corruption, terrorism, riots. Khan claimed the allegations were politically motivated.

This week in Nothing is Strangerwe delve into why Imran Khan is a polarizing figure in Pakistan, who creates loyal followers, and what this could mean for the country’s political future.
