I’ll sue Okudzeto Ablakwa for his defamatory statements against me – Rev. Kusi Boateng

In a statement, the founder and General Supervisor of Power Chapel Worldwide said it would benefit from an investigation by the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) after which he would seek compensation.

“I have noted several publications and defamatory allegations made against my person by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu. I have also been informed that Mr. Ablakwa has petitioned the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to investigate the allegations leveled against me .

“I want to assure the general public that Mr. Ablakwa’s statement is a twisted narrative of events to pursue a nefarious political agenda. There was never any criminal intent or crime committed during my dealings with the Government of Ghana or the National Cathedral.

“I look forward to the (CHRAJ) inquiry during which I will present my side of the matter to the Commission. I will also discuss the matter fully in public without trying to damage the public mind as I have done. everything is done, I will ask for compensation to Mr. Ablakwa for deliberately defamatory statements against me.

Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa, on Monday, January 16, petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to investigate the GH₵‎2.6 million paid to JNS Talent, a company owned by the Secretary of the National Cathedral Council, Victor Kusi Boateng. according to different identities.

JNS Talent Center Ltd which allegedly runs a crèche in Dawhenya was paid some GH¢2.6 million to help build the cathedral, Mr Ablakwa said last Wednesday.
