During the vetting of Dr. Amoah in the Appointments Committee, Dr. Forson asked “Can you agree with me that the government, even if they increase taxes or increase revenue through the introduction of taxes, need to reduce expenses because expenditure has increased by GH¢82 billion?”
Stephen Amoah replied: “I agree with you sir.”
NDC MP for Ajumako Enyan Essiam asked again “Are you going to sacrifice your salary to reduce the expenditure?”
