Republicans “packed” the Court with three alt-right political members of the Federalist Society. If Biden expands the Court, it will go against the unethical “packaging” of Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. The Constitution does not limit the number of Judges to nine. Strengthening the judiciary in difficult times, the disproportionate takeover of partisan politics, restoring democracy and protecting the fair representation of all Americans. The court was dominated by white Christian extremists in power decades before. That is not what the Founding Fathers intended in Article III of the Constitution which originally created the Supreme Court with six justices. The court has fluctuated between five and ten judges since the beginning. Republicans abuse power and break laws to hold onto power, but they whine like babies when democrats threaten to do the same.

The three Democratic justices on the Supreme Court are not scandalous. For example, Justice Ketanji Jackson-Brown recused himself this week from the case involving Harvard because he has served on the board of the university. Chief Justice Roberts is suspicious of doing nothing to support an investigation by Congress into the Court’s unethical behavior. Does that mean she is also hiding things related to her husband who works with a wealthy law firm?

Mitch McConnell refused to let President Obama nominate Merritt Garland to the Supreme Court nine months before the 2012 presidential election. Then he supported President Trump who appointed a member of the federalist community Amy Coney-Barrett to the Court three months before the 2020 election. This court was unethically politicized by right-wing extremists that do not represent the values ​​of the Constitution The hypocrisy shown by McConnell and the Republicans should disqualify any member of Congress from either party to remain in office. Hypoctisy is dishonesty and corruption. New laws to criminalize will protect democracy. If this is a violation of freedom, that freedom should be removed from the law to preserve our democracy.

The need for Supreme Court reform is apparent to the majority of Americans. The court’s approval rating was the lowest at 29%. Why shouldn’t lifetime appointments be revoked by bad behavior? How can democracy protect liars, cheaters, and hyperpartisan judges? Lifetime appointments breed corrupt politics. Why not just appoint independent judges, without party affiliation? About 70% of Americans do not trust or respect the Supreme Court. It is very political, and judges are considered above the law. That is an insult to the average American who is responsible for following the law. The arrogance of judges must be countered with legal and ethical responsibilities and consequences.
