I Washed Cooking Utensils At Mental Hospital In UK – Shyy Of ‘Nkasei’ Fame Shockingly Reveals | General Entertainment

Hiplife Musician, Shyy of ‘Nkasei’ music fame has revealed what kind of work he is doing in England after 18 years of leaving his music career following the controversial hit song of Nkasei music group “Tuabodom”.

Tuabodom became a popular song in the early 2000s but also ended the duo’s music career.

Shyy, whose real name is Kwame Godlove Yeboah Prah, and his partner Isaac Mensa aka Naa K were almost dragged to court for making the song as residents in the Tuabodom community were outraged by the song.

They consider the song as a disrespect and affront to the community, as well as a distortion of historical facts especially where part of the music lyrics refer to the capital of Tuabodom as Jinijini.

After almost a year of controversy, the music duo parted ways to travel abroad to pursue their personal careers.

Revealing for the first time what he went through in England, Shyy noted that his celebrity status did not attract any preferential treatment from people in the country because he was forced to do rough work.

He told Abeiku Santana in an interview on “Ekwanso Dwoodwoo” drive show Okay FM that the way to survive abroad is to wash cooking utensils in a mental hospital.

He also works as a cleaner despite his popularity.

“When I went abroad, I started cleaning. I cleaned 17 toilets. After 17 toilets, I washed equipment in a psychiatric hospital and moved from washing to doing construction work. In fact, many people in Briston often saw me. I dug the ground ; I even did some work (construction) on Liverpool road and so on… Many Ghanaians saw me when I was doing it. Many people could call me from Ghana to find out this is the work I am doing and I answered, yes, right because you can’t live if you don’t”, said.

Shyy further revealed that he currently works as a CCTV operator in the UK but is returning to his musical roots with the release of a new EP titled “Tales of Heaven”.
