Popular Nigerian singer-turned-politician, Olubankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, has recalled how she prayed not to marry someone in the entertainment industry.
Sharing this on Wednesday while celebrating his wife, Adesua Etomi on her birthday in a post shared on his Instagram page, Banky W noted that “God’s plan is better than anything we can dream for ourselves.
“When I’m ready for a wife, I specifically told God I don’t want someone in the Entertainment business because my life is unstable. I want a 9 to 5 career woman in Banking, Telecommunications, Aviation, and Oil & Gas. I don’t want someone who has crazy career like mine.
And when Susu prayed for her husband, she told God that she didn’t want Musicians, Politicians and Pastors. Lol. But here we are, almost six years into our marriage, and it’s clear that God’s plan is better than anything we could have dreamed up for ourselves.
“And, @adesuaetomi, I want to celebrate you. That’s ‘you’ for me. Thank you for loving me and giving birth to Z. Without you, I don’t know where and who I am. The only thing I’ve learned is that nothing is perfect. But you are just perfect for me. I love you now more than ever. I will love you forever.”
