I Don’t Judge My Guests On Restoration —Stacy | General Entertainment

Some of the experiences shared on Stacy Amoateng’s television show, Restoration With Stacy, have been very personal, some are too personal for comfort but Stacy has been able to handle guests well for almost a decade. It’s been 10 years, Restoration With Stacy is still going strong and Stacy, who is also the Executive Director of Angel Group, believes that all this is not counting the guests who encourage others to appear on the show.

“I don’t judge my guests, people have challenges but I don’t judge them because we are all human and it’s not right to take advantage of people’s weaknesses,” he said when Graphic Showbiz broke up.

Stacy, who has been a TV host for almost 25 years, is more than willing to reveal everything about her show, some of her favorite guests are also challenged to get sponsors for her show.

“Recovery With Stacy which is shown on Sundays at 14:00 on Joy Prime and also on Angel TV has been running for almost ten years. I always say that the show is a show given by God, because all the ideas come from God and he has seeing us all these years, we cannot thank Him enough.

“When we started, the show became a hit in the third episode and everyone was talking about it at home and abroad. The first episode was about a Ghanaian model in the UK who had been abused and it caught the attention of the audience.

“Emelia Brobbey also came to talk about the accident and the alleged lifting of the shop in England, it was a very emotional episode if you ask me. It made me cry and I couldn’t hold back,” he said.

Stacy also cited the vow renewal for Majid Michel and his wife Virna as one of the high points of his Restoration With Stacy journey.

“I invited Majid to the event and asked him to bring his wife. He came without him but I insisted that he should be in the event. He appeared later and when I said that Restoration would sponsor the promise to renew.

“They couldn’t believe it, but we kept our word and sponsored a wedding for them at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, with family, friends, industry people and fans in attendance”, she said.
