Speaking about how people fell for some fraudulent pastors, the actress said that she should not believe in prophecies.
“You can pray and read the word; there is no need to rely only on your spiritual father to pray for you. People pay pastors to pray and I think that’s lazy because you can do everything for yourself as a child of God.,” he said.
The outspoken actress also condemned how some people who are supposed to be God are taking advantage of Christians by making the church a business venture instead of God’s house.
Yvonne Nelson added that despite her opinions about pastors and churches today, she still believes in God.
“I believe in dreams, not prophecies. If God wants to reveal something about me, he can show it in my dreams or someone close to me can also dream. I don’t need a preacher to tell me that God is real, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are real,” he said.
The actress called on Christians to pray for a spirit of discernment that can distinguish between the true people of God and those who are liars.
