The Lib Dem border seat held Twickenham as well as Ed Davey’s Kingston seat and it is highly likely that it will be a key target for the LDs in the general election. To make this GE2019 result statement happen on the same day that the Tories won a landslide majority,
Raab had the worst result in GE2019 of any other Tory incumbent.
The boundaries are slightly different for the next election but this will definitely be a big target for LD.
It’s hard to read about GE2019’s decision to vote for Raab and it’s hard to see him as the Blue team’s flag bearer again.
Presumably the events of the past few days will make it more difficult for Raab to find another seat.
