Looks like it Prince Andrew not going anywhere unless dragged!
After the death of Queen Elizabeth IIhis son King Charles up and decided to make a lot of changes! As you can see, one of these changes is a big cost cut – one of the palace’s operational costs. Every year, the Duke of York gets £249,000 in allowances, and the king has decided that is a little too much for his liking, leaving his sister on the verge of eviction.

It has been reported by various sources that Andrew has a 60-year lease on a 30-room mansion in Windsor, and he only pays around £250 a week in rent! Compare that to a New York studio apartment – which costs around £675 a week. They have a good offer and don’t want to lose it, but the cut in funding will make it difficult to pay the £250 price.
The unruly royal is reportedly unable to live within its means, according to a royal financial expert MP Norman Baker. He Said DailyMail.com:
“It’s time Andrew started living within his means instead of expecting others to subsidize his lavish lifestyle. If he can’t pay the commercial rent for his property with his own money, he should be evicted and move to a smaller place. Taxpayers are subsidizing his they.”
Biographer and investigative journalist Tom Bower told this outlet that the stubbornness of the Duke of York could have a detrimental effect on his brother’s coronation which is set to take place in early May:
“Andrew’s selfish behavior threatens the reputation of King Charles and even the Coronation. He thinks he can eliminate the bad situation he has created. By issuing threats, he is playing with fire.
He went on to say that he thought King Charles’ best plan of action would be to get rid of Andrew – again:
“The King’s best solution is to force Andrew out of the big house, to accept more modest accommodation and to persuade him that the offer to rehabilitate is useless – and in the end he will destroy himself. Not only for himself but also for his two daughters. “
63 years old living in Royal Lodge with his ex-husband Sarah Ferguson, and both were reportedly confused by being given short notice to leave the property. Oh, yes, they were kicked out! Evictions usually don’t take long…
But just because he’s leaving the big mansion doesn’t mean he’s going to destroy it in any way. The Duke and his ex are looking at the £5 million house they bought Fergie in 2022. An insider told the outlet:
“He’s looking for it to be empty for his own use. It’s a long way from the mansion on the Windsor estate, but it’s just a London property.
A far from Windsor mansion – but at least it’s Fergalicious! LOLz!
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams don’t think Andrew will change his lifestyle, even if the funding is cut:
“What the royal family does about problems like Andrew is not clear. As far as can be seen, there is absolutely no intention to do charity work, as announced by the Queen, to seek redemption in the future, because they see no reason for redemption. In the court of public opinion he has been guilty. But it will appear that he has, or will have, access to a large amount of funds. King Charles can reduce the funds. However, it seems unlikely that he will change his lifestyle, but it may appear to the public.
Another insider spoke to Mirror and dished Andrew did not go – no way, no how:
“They [said] he’s not going, there’s no way that’s going to happen and even if the King wants him how? If he is [the King] wanting to pay millions to get back the money that has been spent on the property is another matter.
Yeesh.
It looks like a little boy who is angry because he doesn’t want to leave his house…
