The House passed a bill this week that pandered to language and did nothing for the American people. “The House voted 220 to 210, by one vote today, on a bill that would require babies born alive during abortions to receive medical care and criminalize abortion providers who fail to provide medical care to their newborns.” (Wall Street Journal, January 11, 2023). The bill, titled “Life-Birth Abortion Victim Protection Act” was criticized by House of Representatives member Dr. Nancy Mace who said that the bill is tone deaf and explained that “killing live babies is not a thing, it’s not a thing.” Despite the negative opinion about the bill that said, Mace kept voting. The House also passed a bill protecting anti-abortion centers from violence while saying nothing about protecting violence against abortion clinics. The House is not a serious legislative body, it’s a messaging center for right-wing ideology.

Chuck Schumer assured democrats the bill would die in the Senate. The bill, titled the ‘Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act,’ lacks substance. It is falsehoid touts that middle America can see increased tax liability. This is a false message from Republican lawmakers and the conservative media. McCarthy and his successors have nothing to do with the fact that 60% of Americans support a woman’s right to an abortion.

Several student eyewitnesses reported hearing Jordan downplay and fail to report sexual misconduct against athletes by team doctors at Ohio State 10 years ago. Ohio, like most Republican states, made the scandal disappear. Protecting elected officials is more important to the GOP than ethics or the law. On the contrary, the democrats expelled their members for misconduct that approached the seriousness of the accusations against Jim Jordan and Donald Trump. Guys like Gaetz, Trump, And Jordan are the face of the Republican party filled with toxic men who are narcissistic and don’t believe in transparency.
It took McCarthy 15 rounds of voting to be elected Speaker. The practice he had been doing by kissing Ttump’s ass for 2 years was fired. He begged and butt-kissed his way to winning the gavel and simultaneously weakening the role of the Speaker. After claiming Trump was responsible for the attack on the Capitol, McCarthy panicked and ran to Mara-a-Lago to honor Trump. He is a coward, an unforgiving hypocrite, and a pathological opportunist. He proved that his loyalty was to himself and to power against truth, morality, and the Constitution. Although other House Republicans called for Santos to resign, McCarthy pressed ahead, so Santos became a committee member.

Listening to McCarthy, the most vulnerable, most hypocritical creature in government talk today, is worth it. He can’t stop emasculating himself by publicly kissing Trump’s ass and projecting onto others the exact crimes and abhorrent behaviors Trump has committed. He is a cliched version of a shallow, power-hungry politician who oozes dishonesty and panders to anyone who will stay in office. His ickiness is the main repellent for women opposite Marjorie Taylor Green.
